Frequently asked questions.
What is a cash-based physical therapy practice?
A cash-based practice means we don't participate in insurance plans. This allows us to focus on providing personalized care and spending more time with each patient. You pay for your services directly at the time of treatment.
Why choose a cash-based practice?
More time with your therapist: Without the burden of insurance paperwork and restrictions, we can spend more time assessing your needs and developing a customized treatment plan.
Personalized care: We tailor your treatment to your specific goals and progress, without limitations imposed by insurance companies.
No co-pays or deductibles: You know the exact cost upfront, with no hidden fees or surprises.
Convenience: Schedule appointments easily and quickly without needing prior authorization from your insurance company.
Do you provide any documentation for insurance reimbursement?
Yes, we can provide you with a Superbill (itemized statement of services) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. However, we cannot guarantee reimbursement.
What should I wear to my appointments?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement. You may want to bring shorts or loose-fitting pants for lower body treatments.
What can I expect during my first visit?
A comprehensive evaluation to assess your current condition and goals.
A detailed discussion of your treatment plan and expected outcomes.
Your first treatment session, which may include manual therapy, exercises, and education.
How long are the visits?
Visits are 60 minutes of one on one care with a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, credit cards, and HSA/FSA cards.
